Affirmative Action needs to be dumped!
For years, Affirmative Action has existed, and Negroes have enjoyed it. Even if you didn't qualify, you still were hired on many jobs. When I hear Negroes say "they can't get rid of Affirmative Action", I smile to myself.
First of all, WHITE WOMEN benefit from AA way more than Blacks, but surprisingly most Negroes never mention that! With the recent Supreme Court's ruling in favor of the New Haven white firemen, I am elated!
I feel it's time to rid of AA, and let the chips fall where they may. During my days of youth, we were told the,"you had to be twice as good as the white man", and it stuck with us. When we prepared for a test, we really prepared. We wasn't out playing sports,or hanging out
, because our parents expected us to STUDY, and PASS the upcoming test. This all took place during state mandated segregation. Even during that period of time, our teachers could see that pretty soon, segregation would end.
Now we have a case of Blacks in New Haven Ct who can't pass a test to upgrade. The city decided to promote them anyway which was wrong as hell, and the white firefughters carried it to court. Had these firefighters been discriminated against, you damned right they had. People in this country are getting tired of the same ol' bullshitting excuse, "we once were slaves". Past slavery hasn't a damned thng to do with it,laziness, and poor study habits are the culprits!
If you want to be treated as "equals", then you must be willing to compete as equals. Stop making sorry assed excuses why you can't compete! Stop making excuses the tests are racially biased toward blacks, because Asians come here and generally score higher then whites, and guess what, THEY AIN'T WHITE!
Getting rid of AA, will make the Afrocentrists shut the hell up, because they love to speak about the greatness of Negroes in Egypt 5,000 years ago,but quickly shut up when challenged why Negroes are so damned behind the rest of the world.
Getting rid of AA, will be a boon for everyone in this great country of ours.
